SNOW WHITE & THE SOUR APPLE 25.1.14
I love to freshen up my nails on a Saturday morning. Today I've gone for something very different for me. I got this effect by first applying my Primark Angelica Nail lacquer in Snow White, costing just £2.50, If you haven't done so before id give these fantastic Nail polishes a try, there reasonably priced, come in a great assortment of colours and go on like a dream.
After applying the Snow White as a base I then applied this fantastic speckled effect Nail Lacquer by Barry M in Sour Apple. Its a clear polish with turquoise and yellow speckles in it, This polish costs £4 and is available from all good stockists of Barry M products for example, Boots, Superdrug and River Island.
The only way I would describe this look is...does anyone remember those giant gob stoppers that were white with coloured speckles in them? Well they look like those, you'd lick them for days and days until they were confiscated by mum! To this day I don't know of anyone who actually finished one!
Well let me know what you think my darlings.

These look wonderful, like marbles or like you have said the never ending gobstopper. A well written and presented post, that in my humble opinion Boots the Chemists or Superdrug would do well to promote - Best wishes and have a great weekend Alan

The speckled nail varnish is lovely too, I have the red/purple glitter strand one :) such a pain to remove though...

That green colour is so pretty!! The effect reminds me of the "Nails Inc. Feathers Effect" nail polish! :) Very cool effect!
